KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 31 — Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo has called on Malaysians to reflect on the sacrifices of past generations and cherish the unity, harmony and freedom enjoyed by the country today.

In his National Day message, Gobind said the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations had paved the way for Malaysians to live together as a free and independent nation.

He urged Malaysians to set aside their differences and continue strengthening the spirit of togetherness based on love, harmony and shared well-being.

“Let us set aside our differences and continue to cherish the sense of togetherness we share, built on love, harmony, and the well-being we continue to enjoy together,” he said.

Gobind also expressed hope that Malaysia would continue to flourish, progress and prosper for generations to come.

He extended his National Day greetings to all Malaysians on behalf of himself and the Ministry of Digital, wishing the nation a meaningful 69th National Day.
