KUALA LUMPUR, 7 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Batik Air regrets to announce the continued cancellation of scheduled flights between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta on 7 September 2026, due to the ongoing volcanic activity at Mount Anak Krakatau in the Sunda Strait, between Java and Sumatra, Indonesia.
The decision follows the latest operational assessment and continued coordination with the relevant aviation authorities and airport operators. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain Batik Air’s highest priority.
