Bangkok — Member of the Board of Directors of UiTM University, Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, delivered a speech entitled Malaysia Madani Philosophy and the Experience of a Peaceful Life at the International Conference managed by the International Islamic College, KRIKH University, Thailand on September 11.

About 100 participants from China, Nigeria, Egypt, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore participated the conference.

In his speech, Mustaffa shared the background of Malaysia’s pluralistic society as well as approaches in dealing with this diversity.

The latest agenda is through Civil Malaysia which is now accepted by various levels of society, race and religion.

He emphasized that with the wise and earnest leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his approach is gaining ground and showing its effectiveness.

In fact, he stated in the round table discussion the cross-faith participants expressed their support for the concept of Madani Malaysia.

Meanwhile, on the side of civil servants, according to Mustaffa, it is getting stronger in appreciation as confirmed by the new Chief Secretary to the State (KSN), Tan Sri Dato Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar at the Leadership Aspirations Council on 10 September 2024.

Mustaffa also stated that a team has been built to build the Malaysia Madani achievement index as well as work towards a more active grassroots, especially the young generation.

Additionally, he also held side discussions with Professor Dr Jaran Maluleen, Vice President of KRIKH University who is also the Dean of KRIKH International Islamic College to hold a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and also a discussion with Dr Luo Yong, advisor to the Chairman of KRIKH to create a China-ASEAN Institute based in Bangkok.

Mustaffa who is also the Chairman of the National Institute of Entrepreneurship (INSKEN) was accompanied by Dato Nabil Abdul Kadir, Chairman of the Civil Entrepreneurs Consortium ((KUSMA)) during the one-day work visit to Thailand.
